The security industry is booming with high demand as many employers are eager to hire those who can become a quality security guard. Although the actual requirements or standards can vary from State to State, some requirements are the same throughout the US. The first of these is that applicant must be at least 18 years of age. Then, the training shifts to on-the-job training where you will work with your employer. At the completion of this training, you may receive a guard card or license depending on your State, but you will be ready to begin your career.
