All that is needed is to use a basic labeling system for each box where you list the boxes alphabetically and then on a sheet of paper list of what is in each box. Then, you just use this inventory sheet each time you need to find something in the storage pods. This makes it easy to find stuff even if it is 6 months, 1 year, or a couple of years later. It also, provides something that someone else can easily use to find stuff in the event that you are out of town or god forbid, are injured or die.
